Promazine Hydrochloride has been employed in studies investigating dopamine-stimulated glycosylation of brain proteins in vitro. It has actions similar to chlorpromazine but with less antipsychotic activity. It is primarily used in short-term treatment of disturbed behavior and as an antiemetic.
