Benzethonium Chloride is commonly used as a topical antimicrobial agent. Benzethonium chloride exhibited concentration-dependent inhibitions of HERG channel currents with IC(50) values of 4nM and 17nM, respectively, which were also voltage-dependent and use-dependent.
