2.Use of 3-Mercaptopropionic acid
3-Mercaptopropionic acid is an intermediate of the pharmaceutical fennel and is also used as a stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride. It can be used in transparent products like thioglycolic acid, and its thermal stability is very good, which is better than other stabilizers. Also used as antioxidants, catalysts and biochemical reagents.
3.Production method of 3-Mercaptopropionic acid
It is prepared from acrylonitrile and thiourea as raw materials. First, thiourea and hydrochloric acid were reacted at 40°C for 0.5h, acrylonitrile was added dropwise, reacted at 110-113°C for 3h, cooled to 40°C, and 4% sodium hydroxide solution was added to pH 11, after dehydrogenation for 4h, at 30°C ℃ neutralize with hydrochloric acid to pH 1-2. Then add benzene to extract, recover benzene, carry out vacuum distillation, collect 125-140 ℃ fractions to obtain the finished product. In addition, 3-3-Mercaptopropionic acid can also be obtained by the reaction of hydrogen sulfide with pyruvic acid or with β-propiolactone.
4.3-Mercaptopropionic acid transportation and storage method
