【性子】白色结晶。 无吸湿性。味苦。从水溶液中结晶可得六面棱形晶体。相对密度2.50。熔点529.5℃。微溶于水及热乙醇。在熔融时最先剖析。能被硫酸等强酸剖析天生三氟化 硼。与碱金属、碳酸盐熔融时天生氟化物和硼酸盐。有毒！
【用途】用作热焊和铜焊的助熔剂，铝镁浇铸生产含硼合金的质料，在热固性树脂粘合的磨轮中用作填充料。在熔接和熔合银、金、不锈钢时，能提净轻金属的渣滓。制三氟化硼和其它氟盐的质料。也用于电化学历程的试剂。
