Meclofenamic acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent with antipyretic and antigranulation activities. It also inhibits prostaglandin biosynthesis. It is a member of the anthranilic acid derivatives class of NSAID drugs and was approved by the FDA in 1980.
